The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children participate in active play/exercise for at least 1 hour per day. With a little creativity this can be a great time to hang out as a family. Even committing to a half hour of play after school is a great start! Remember with the right clothes most days can be outside play days! Get outside and get active!
